Tim Peters
I was born in Fairbanks in 1956. One of six children, my father started University Park Bible Church. I was saved at a young age. Pauline and I were married in 1976. I then served as deacon, a youth pastor and then a singles pastor in my early 20s at the Bible Baptist Church in Fairbanks.
In 1979 we attended Baptist Bible College for a 4-year degree in theology, and then Liberty University for a Master’s Degree in Biblical Counseling.
In 1984 we started a church in North Pole and pastored for 14-years. I earned a doctorate in biblical counseling through Andersonville Baptist Theological Seminary (long distance program) during our pastorate.
In 1998, I served as Mayor of North Pole, while I continued to pastor. In 1999 we attended Regent University. While pursuing a Juris Doctorate, I taught adult Sunday School and was elder at Avalon Bible Church. I pastored Christ Presbyterian Church my final year of law school.
In 2002, we moved to Anchorage. I worked at a private law firm, and then opened the Law Office of Timothy P. Peters, LLC in February 2005. With about 85% Christian clients, it is a joy to assist believers with resolution and prevention of conflicts. We are excited about what God has for us in the future as our lives continue to unfold.
We have enjoyed our five children: Kimberly (30) in North Pole, Crystal (26) in Tennessee, Matt (25) Paralegal, Anchorage, Evie (21) owns/operates Evies’ Espresso, Anchorage, Sarah (18) works for dad at the law office. We have three wonderful grandchildren.
