Scott
Grant
Scott moved to Anchorage from Washington State in July 1983. He
and his wife, Linda, have been members of Anchorage Grace since
August 1984. His present employer is the Anchorage School District.
Scott has been the Business Manager for Frontier Charter School
since 1999. He and Linda were married August 26, 1972. Linda works
full time at a fiscal manager at the institute for Social and
Economic Research at UAA.
They have
two children, Kristi (31), who is married to Jason Werre and lives
in Anchorage. They have given them two grandchildren, Alex and
Eli. Their son, Matt (29), is married to Michelle and they live
in Champlin, MN. They have 3 children, Payton, Ayden and Ryker.
Linda has been the Director of Music and Worship (part-time) at
Anchorage Grace since October 1994. Scott served on the Anchorage
Grace staff as Associate Pastor for Administration June 1989 –
October 1995.
He has enjoyed
serving at Anchorage Grace as a Deacon, Usher and Usher Team Leader,
Elder Board member (former elder board chair), Grace Christian
School Board member (past chair), Senior Pastor Search committee
chairman Adult Sunday school teacher. Mr. Grant is currently an
Elder Board member, Adult Sunday School class teacher, and Usher
team member. He also serves as a Board member and Treasurer at
Alaska Christian Ministries Association 2004 – present.
