The Men’s
ministry at Anchorage Grace Church helps men to grow in the Word
and the knowledge of Christ, maintain a prayer life, find ways
to keep accountable one to another, look for opportunities to
serve inside the body of believers.
The activities
and hours are so diverse that even the most unpredictable schedule
can accommodate a chance to fellowship, pray and receive nourishment
for the soul.
Activities
to consider:
3D
Men’s Group. We meet every week, Tuesday,
Wednesday, and Thursday at L’Aroma on Old Seward between
Dimond and OMalley at 6:30 a.m.for prayer, Bible study and fellowship.
3D stands for Developing Disciplined Disciples. John Patten leads the Bible study, but if he’s not in, there’s
always a capable man to lead the group and prepare everyone to
face the day at work or with the family.
A key element
to this group is the emphasis on mutual accountability of the
attendees. Strong friendships are forged and there’s a genuine
interest on the well-being of all the 3D men.
A special
focus is given to prayer. Even though this group has been active
for almost two years and a sense of belonging has been achieved,
everyone is welcomed. Just come on in and start enjoying the fellowship
and the growth.
