Linda Grant - Director of Music and Worship

I was born and raised in a Christian home in Bellingham, Washington. I came to know the Lord at an early age. I started taking piano lessons in the third grade and played the piano at church and school starting at age 12.

I began playing the piano at Anchorage Grace in February of 1984. When music pastor Ron Mapes left Anchorage Grace in October of 1994, I was asked to coordinate the music and worship. I have continued to do this on a part-time basis for over 13 years.

I work full-time at the Institute of Social and Economic Research with the University of Alaska Anchorage as their fiscal manager. I have worked at UAA since October of 1990.

I have been married to Scott Grant since August 26, 1972. We have two children, Kristi (30), who is married to Jason Werre and lives here in Anchorage. They have given us three grandchildren, Alex, Eli and Daya. Our son, Matt (29), is married to Michelle and they live in Champlin, Minnesota. They have also given us three grandchildren, Payton, Ayden and Ryker.
