Community Groups

The Anchorage Grace Church vision and purpose for small groups is to introduce people to Jesus Christ and to mature Christians by cultivating and developing a love and passion for Jesus, for Scripture, for worship, for fellowship, for evangelism, and for training. Our preaching ministry sows the seed of the Word of God. Our small group ministry fertilizes the seed of the Word of God. God gives the increase!

College and Career

When: Monday evenings, 7:00 p.m.
Description: this small group is a collection of college and career age adults. We gather for dinner Monday evening and then spend time in God’s word. We’re currently studying the book of Hebrews. We are fun and casual, so bring your friends and enjoy the fellowship with us.

The Truth Project

When: Monday evening at 6:30 p.m.
Description:  Weekly we meet to view and discuss The Truth Project DVD series.  When we are not in this series we focus on the application of the weekly sermons. Each week we experience an overflow of material. This Bible Study l gives us the chance to discuss the sermon material, focusing on how it applies to us individually. Children are always welcome.

3D Men’s Small Group

Location: L’Aroma on 100th and Old Seward
When: Tue and Wed at 6:30 a.m. and Thu in the Church Chapel
Description: 3D stands for Developing Disciplined Disciples. Each of these words has incredible meaning and implication on our Christian walk. We visit, pray, study and share thoughts about God’s truth. The 3D men’s small group has been meeting in the mornings for several years, everyone is welcome.

Sunday School

Purpose

Adult Sunday School is a ministry of Anchorage Grace church focused on the opportunities for adult ministry, evangelism, and spiritual growth.

Administration

Pator Steve Pauls is the current Director of Adult Sunday School and has oversight responsibilities for lay leader selection and training, course selection and procurement of course materials, and for ensuring facility availability and preparation. We are blessed with wonderful teachers for our Adult Sunday School program, but our body is always in need of more lay leaders and teachers. If you sense a call from the Lord to teach Adult Sunday School, please contact any Elder or Pastor.
